American Guinea Pig: Sacrifice. The third film in the American Guinea Pig series. This film follows a man named Daniel who is haunted by the death of his father as well as numerous other psychological traumas. Daniel has become obsessed with the Arab goddess of War and Sexual Love Ishtar. And so one fateful day, he returns to his childhood home with his cell phone, three candles and a backpack full of sharp instruments. Daniel then proceeds to pay homage to his beloved Ishtar by inflicting torture and mutilation upon himself as he beckons for her to come to him as his visceral journey of self enlightenment is played out in excruciating detail right before our eyes.

American Guinea Pig: Sacrifice is one damn fine piece of depraved gore celluloid. I loved every moment of this film. The practical effects were as brilliant as they were brutal. It has been a very long time since a film has made me clench my teeth with horror but this film had me in that state almost perpetually, I knew from the first moment that happened that this was something special. The atmosphere was great as well, very ominous and foreboding as we feel as if nothing exists beyond this room and this man as he carves himself apart. And Ishtar herself walks that fine line between terrifying and sexy.
All in all I loved this film about as much as I thought I would and then some. This movie doesn`t kick ass as much as it tears it open with a corer, slides its throbbing meat in it and paints it red and white. American Guinea Pig: Sacrifice, you I love.
