Hunting Creatures. Pure micro-budget gory fun.

Hunting Creatures, a shot on video micro-budget little zombie splatter film from Germany in 2001. This will be a quick one as the film is rather short and quite easy to sum up but that doesn`t mean it isn`t enjoyable.

Hunting Creatures tells the story of a rave party that goes south when a mysterious chemical is fed into the sprinklers in the building, transforming many a party goer into a flesh eating beast. A small group of friends and two of the scientists who developed the chemical then go out to hunt the growing amount of zombie creatures wrecking havoc upon the streets. What ensues is a balls out fun roller-coaster ride of gore and fight scenes set to music that switches constantly between hilariously bad and punishingly awesome.

Hunting Creatures was a ton of fun. The gore was awesome and the action was crazy entertaining. My personal favorite part involves the main characters being cornered in the back of a butchers shop. Guns blaze, swords swing and guts fly everywhere as your ears are treated to some pristine Grindy Death Metal. It is a thing of beauty and had me headbanging along as I watched in awe as the main characters tore the creatures apart sometimes with their bare hands. This sure was a fun one and I can`t wait to watch it again with a beverage next time. And I suggest you do the same. Hunting Creatures is pure braindead Z grade splatter mayhem, grab a beer and a burger and enjoy it!
