The Butcher. The Korean film too shocking and brutal to be released in its own country.

The Butcher. An absolutely brutal extreme horror film from South Korea released in 2007. The film that the DVD cover proudly as "The Korean Horror Film too brutal and shocking to be released in its own country." The film is shown through a unique perspective as the story follows a group of four people abducted and taken to an abandoned slaughterhouse where a group of Snuff Film makers aim to tear them apart on film. As such, each captive has a camera placed on top of their head and we see almost the entire ordeal through one of these cameras. Where we can witness the blood and degradation in first person POV beauty!

As one can imagine The Butcher is not for the faint of heart or the weak of stomach. All the extreme violence and even man on man rape in one scene is literally in your face. The killers are really quite interesting in this film too. That guy in the Pig mask is particularly bizarre. He truly acts more like an animal than a man and he is one ruthless dude.

If it isn`t abundantly clear by now, I love the hell out of this film. I know this has been a short post but well... It`s a short but sweet little piece of blood soaked celluloid. It`s just brutal enough that you will be lusting after every drop of blood by the end. Nut up and watch you pansies!!!
