Where the Dead Go To Die. Now this one is not for the faint of heart. A very dark and disturbing animated anthology film from Jimmy ScreamerClauz. Jimmy ScreamerClauz is an artist who I am a big fan of. His animations are incredibly imaginative and never seize to amaze me with their trippy and morbid content.
Where the Dead Go To Die is Jimmy ScreamerClauz`s first feature film. A tale of three troubled people living in the same neighborhood who are all haunted by a talking dog named Labby who sends them all on terrifying trips through other dimensions, their own subconscious minds and their own horrid daily lives. One story follows a young boy named Tommy who Labby tells that his unborn sibling is the antichrist. Another is a junkie living in a church who is addicted to injecting himself with the memories of the dead. The other follows a deformed boy named Ralph who Labby helps court the girl next door who is the unwilling star in her fathers child porn ring.

This film is a complete acid trip from start to finish. Seeing as this is Jimmy`s first film the animation is very amateur compared to his exceptional new stuff. But in my opinion this makes the film all the more uncanny and unsettling to look at. The voice acting has a similar effect, while the quality varies, trust me when I say it will get right under your skin. I absolutely love this vile little movie. It was my second Unearthed Films purchase and I regret not a thing.
